KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) successfully held the 2018 Youth Wing General Assembly. There were about 40 members attended the meeting.

Chairman of MCCC Youth Wing, Bryan Chong, said that more than half of the country’s population is young people under the age of 40. To succeed, the country must look at the people’s quality, enthusiasm, hard work, knowledge and wisdom.

“Youth is the backbone of a country. Therefore, MCCC Youth Wing will organise events, seminars, and breakfast talks for youth to enrich themselves, keep abreast of new developments and not be eliminated by the Industrial Revolution 4.0,” Bryan added.

The MCCC President, Tan Yew Sing, is optimistic that Malaysian youth will have remarkable achievements during the transition of the national economy.

“In the future, the Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet Plus will create more emerging industries and occupations. In addition, the entrepreneurship and innovation advocated by China will also bring new opportunities to youth,” Tan said.
