KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) will hold the 11th Malaysia-China Entrepreneurs Conference cum 2nd Malaysia-China Young Entrepreneurs Conference (MCEC cum MCYEC 2021) on Nov 21 in online-offline hybrid mode. MCCC expects to have 10,000 people joining the conferences exploring multilateral cooperation and business opportunities.

The theme of this year’s MCEC cum MCYEC is “RCEP Key Prospect and Challenge”. To comply with the Covid-19 standard operation procedures, the conference site is limited to invited guests, and the public are invited to participate via live stream platform with no participation fees. Leaders of governments and enterprises will be sharing the investment policies and benefits, as well as their insightful experiences with participants.

This conference is honoured to invite Chief Minister of Selangor YAB Dato’ Seri Amirudin bin Shari and China Ambassador to Malaysia H.E. Ouyang Yujing as the honoured guests to grace the event. We are also fortunate to have Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Economy) YB Dato’ Sri Mustapa bin Mohamed, and Director of Hainan Provincial Bureau of International Economic Development Mr. Han Shengjian to deliver keynote speeches and Secretary-General of MITI Dato’ Lokman Hakim Ali also will deliver special remark on RCEP topics. Participants will receive the latest update on business opportunities under the RCEP framework.

The forum focused on four sectors. The Minister Counsellor of Indonesia Embassy in Malaysia Mr. Harry Rusmana Irawan, Former Ambassador to the WTO Malaysia Datuk M. Supperamaniam and Chief Strategist of NCT Alliance Berhad Mr. Neil Foo will talk about trade and investment; logistics and transportation will be shared by the Managing Director of GDEX Mr. Teong Teck Lean; Mr. DaiBin, President of China Tourism Academy (Director of National Tourism Data Center) will discuss topics related to comprehensive health care and cultural tourism; Mr. Muhammad Daniel Yee Abdullah, the Vice Chairman of Malaysia International Durian Industry Development Association (MIDIDA) will share on Agrotech.

In the afternoon MCYEC session, we will have keynote speech and two panel discussions focus on entrepreneurship and digital transformation. The Chief Financial Officer of Agroz Group, Mr. William Du and Founding & Managing Partner of Vynn Group Mr. Victor Chua, are the panelists to entrepreneurship; the digital transformation panelists are iPayLinks Founder and CEO Mr. Gunther Zhen, Pingo COO Mr. Carlson See Toh and Cloud Mile Inc. Country Manager Mr Lester Leong.

We will also have a special “KOL Fireside Chat” with My Malaysia Cousin (马来堂哥), Malaysia’s popular Douyin KOL and Ms. SuQin, China’s writer with more than 50 million followers on Weibo.

MCEC cum MCYEC 2021 is supported by China Embassy in Malaysia, Selangor State Government, Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board, Fujian Provincial Department of Commerce, Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province, Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Chengdu Municipal People’s Government, Zhanjiang Bureau of Commerce and Chengdu Overseas Friendship Association.
