Chairperson

Dato’ Angie Ng Wai Sam

1. Responsible for overseeing the comprehensive planning, leadership direction, and development of the Women Entrepreneurs Committee.

2. Responsible for making decisions and mobilizing resources for the vision, goals, positioning, and implementation of the Women Entrepreneurs Committee.

3. Responsible for supervising and inspecting the implementation of resolutions, decisions, regulations, and systems of the chamber of commerce.

4. Responsible for nominating the Deputy Chairperson, Vice Chairpersons, Secretary-General, Treasurer, and Council Members of the Women Entrepreneurs Committee.

5. Responsible for organizing, leading, and approving the funds for major events of the Women Entrepreneurs Committee.

6. Responsible for liaising with government officials and hosting receptions for related government leaders.

7. Responsible for convening and presiding over board meetings.

8. Responsible for delivering the annual work report at the annual general meeting.

9. Represent and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of members by reflecting their opinions, suggestions, and requests.

10. Lead and participate in providing policy recommendations related to the government, planning benchmark activities, and sharing information on products and events.

Deputy Chairperson

Jamie Tiew Yen Houng

1. Responsible for proposing, planning, accepting, and completing tasks and resolutions of the association, as well as tasks assigned by the chairperson and delegated matters.

2. Exercising the powers of the chairperson in the absence of the chairperson.

3. Responsible for leading, participating, and assisting the chairperson in executing major events and diplomatic activities.

4. Responsible for connecting with business activities related to RCEP and identifying commercial opportunities beneficial to the committee.

5. Responsible for implementing the resolutions of various meetings.

6. Responsible for promoting and supervising the implementation of resolutions, decisions, regulations, and systems of the committee.

7. Responsible for sharing the responsibility of liaising with government departments and hosting receptions for them.

8. Responsible for fostering close cooperation and friendly collaboration between members from East Malaysia and the Women Entrepreneurs Committee.

9. Responsible for guiding and assisting in the development of the committee.

Vice Chairperson

Datuk Emily Tan Lay Koon

1. Responsible for proposing, planning, accepting, and completing tasks and resolutions of the association, as well as tasks assigned by the chairperson and delegated matters.

2. Assist in attending and participating in necessary meetings and activities to provide support in the absence of the Deputy Chairperson.

3. Responsible for leading, participating, and assisting the chairperson in executing major events and diplomatic activities.

4. Responsible for implementing the resolutions of various meetings.

5. Responsible for promoting and collaborating on the implementation of resolutions, decisions, regulations, and systems of the chamber of commerce.

6. Responsible for sharing the responsibility of liaising with government departments and hosting receptions for them.

7. Responsible for planning and conducting the development and membership recruitment activities for the branches of the Women Entrepreneurs Committee.

8. Responsible for coordinating preliminary communication, implementing the committee’s constitution, and supervising the progress of establishing branch.

9. Responsible for consolidating detailed information on the establishment of branch and submitting it for approval to the four major bodies before dissemination.

10. Responsible for reviewing the membership fees and procedures for establishing branch to ensure compliance with the committee’s regulations.

11. Responsible for fostering close cooperation and friendly collaboration between branch members and the Women Entrepreneurs Committee, disseminating the committee’s mission, culture, and SOP processes.

Vice Chairperson

Joanne Teh Lip Cheng

1. Responsible for proposing, planning, accepting, and completing tasks and resolutions of the association, as well as tasks assigned by the chairperson and delegated matters.

2. Responsible for promoting and collaborating on the implementation of resolutions, decisions, regulations, and systems of the chamber of commerce.

3. Responsible for sharing the responsibility of liaising with government departments and hosting receptions for them.

4. Responsible for implementing the resolutions of various meetings.

5. Responsible for guiding and assisting in the development of the committee.

6. Responsible for planning domestic international trade and business connections, exploring more exchanges, expansions, and developments beneficial to the development of women entrepreneurs.

7. Responsible for expanding the chamber’s network, developing connections with foreign and Chinese enterprises, gathering the latest business information to provide more opportunities for business cooperation for the committee.

Secretary-General

Jasmine Chin Yong Shya

1. Responsible for proposing, planning, accepting, and completing tasks and resolutions of the association, as well as tasks assigned by the chairperson and delegated matters.

2. Responsible for leading, participating, and assisting the chairperson in executing major events and diplomatic activities.

3. Responsible for promoting and supervising the implementation of resolutions, decisions, regulations, and systems of the committee.

4. Responsible for sharing the responsibility of liaising with government departments and hosting receptions for them.

5. Responsible for guiding and assisting in the development of the committee.

6. Responsible for disseminating the chairperson’s plans and messages from the central secretariat.

7. Responsible for coordinating with the central secretariat, ensuring alignment, and executing the day-to-day operations of the committee.

8. Responsible for reviewing meeting minutes, external publicity content, organizing meeting agendas, and related summaries (board meetings must comply with quorum).

9. Responsible for connecting branch chairpersons and secretaries to jointly promote large-scale events of the Women Entrepreneurs Committee, and ensuring the flow of information.

10. Responsible for closely collaborating with the four major committees and branch, understanding the development progress of each group, coordinating and consolidating branch meeting records, records of the four major committees, and briefing the chairperson on relevant information.

Deputy Secretary-General

Yenzy Chen Poh Yin

1. Responsible for sharing and executing tasks assigned and allocated by the secretary-general, as well as coordinating with various parties.
Treasurer

Coral Chia Peck San

1. Responsible for proposing, planning, accepting, and completing tasks and resolutions of the association, as well as tasks assigned by the chairperson and delegated matters.

2. Responsible for leading, participating, and assisting the chairperson in executing major events and diplomatic activities.

3. Responsible for promoting and supervising the implementation of resolutions, decisions, regulations, and systems of the committee.

4. Responsible for guiding and assisting in the development of the committee.

5. Responsible for establishing the committee’s financial income and expenditure process (SOP), approving receipts and financial statements (complete archival receipts are not limited to paper and electronic files).

6. Responsible for cost control, risk management, financial measures, and proposing funding increase schemes, including implementation, execution, promotion, supervision, review, and compliance with tax regulations.

7. Responsible for collecting and consolidating the branch’s financial reports, auditing, auditing, and archiving.

8. Responsible for auditing expenses, bookkeeping, and providing clear monthly financial statements
