Johor: The Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) and its Johor Branch co-organised a two-day training in Forest City for all its branches in order to enhance the branches\u2019 organizational capabilities and competitiveness.<\/p>\n
This year, MCCC will continue implementing its goal in becoming a learning organization. It plans to organize various trainings including innovative and entrepreneurial courses to create a culture of active learning and creative exploration so that young members can grasp the economic and trade knowledge and management skills. For example, training courses can enhance the competitiveness and organizational skills of young entrepreneurs, Secretariat staff, corporate members and the National Council Members through the knowledge sharing of each speaker.<\/p>\n
For this training, MCCC invited Low Chee Chong to talk about the techniques to hold better meetings, Ann Woo, a local well-known philanthropist to share her extensive philanthropy experience and Tang Ah Chai, a well-known commentator to talk about non-profit organization (NPO) administration and financial management.<\/p>\n
Tan Yew Sing, MCCC President shared his years of experience and observation on \u2018Pattern Thinking and Strategy Application\u2019 with the participants.<\/p>\n
Tan believes that policymakers must keep up with the trend and the pulse of the mega trend in order to take advantage of the situation in this constantly changing new era.<\/p>\n
“It\u2019s just like the rise of modern China that is at the forefront of the world in terms of economy, humanities or technological knowledge. Malaysia and MCCC is currently working closely with China to jointly build and share under the Belt and Road initiative,” Tan added.<\/p>\n
Tan reminded that Malaysia is the first ASEAN country that established diplomatic relations with China. Malaysia should adopt an attitude that is neither supercilious nor obsequious, continuously enhance its competitiveness, selling points and technology when cooperating with China in the future.<\/p>\n
Low Chee Chong explained about systematic proceedings and procedures. It covers purpose of meeting, dos and don\u2019ts, and the role of chairman.<\/p>\n
Ann Woo shared about corporate social responsibility (CSR) and charity fund-raising strategy, creative fund-raising, and etc.<\/p>\n
Tang Ah Chai put forward the details of how an excellent non-profit organization can create civil society, improve administrative ability, public fund-raising, and brand building.<\/p>\n
