\u201cMCCC has been actively encouraging corporate members and Malaysian entrepreneurs to make good use of the \u2018Internet +\u2019, and acquire China’s ever-changing Internet technology,\u201d Loo Kok Seong, MCCC First Vice President pointed out in the fourth Beijing International Conference of Friendly Chambers of Commerce.<\/p>\n

“Two years ago, MCCC highlighted the importance of \u2018Internet +\u2019 in the private sector to the entrepreneurs who attended the 5th<\/sup>\u00a0Malaysia-China Entrepreneur Conference\u00a0(MCEC 2015),\u201d Loo added.<\/p>\n

Today, the Malaysian private sector began to actively use the \u2018Internet +\u2019 model. It can be seen that the convenience stores in Malaysia have introduced \u2018Alipay\u2019 mobile payment services. The Digital Free Trade Area (DFTZ), which was built by the Malaysia and China government, is making good use of the concept of e-commerce, and it will further increase the export of Malaysia SMEs by 2020.<\/p>\n

\u201cChina is the fastest developing country with the Internet technology, and it is expected to build more free trade platform in the future.\u201d Xiong Jiuling, Chairperson of the China Council for the promotion of International Trade, Beijing\u00a0Sub-Council (CCPIT Beijing) pointed out at the opening ceremony of the fourth Beijing International Conference of Friendly Chambers of Commerce.<\/p>\n

Loo called on Malaysian entrepreneurs to further utilize the \u2018Internet +\u2019 technology in business, in particular, to enhance human resources and cultivate innovative talents. \u2018Internet +\u2019 is especially crucial for industries including finance, tourism, education and etc. The relevant departments are required to address tax, certificates, and legal issues that derived from the \u2018Internet +\u2019.<\/p>\n

Loo shared the above views during the dialogue sessions of the conference.<\/p>\n

The fourth Beijing International Conference of Friendly Chambers of Commerce, organized by the China Council for the promotion of International Trade, Beijing\u00a0Sub-Council (CCPIT Beijing), attracted 51 delegates from various countries to attend.<\/p>\n

In addition, Datuk Lau Nai Hoh, MCCC Sarawak Branch President, shared the future activities of the MCCC with the representatives of 18 countries at the roundtable discussion in the afternoon of the same day.<\/p>\n

One of the activities is the 7th<\/sup>\u00a0Malaysia-China Entrepreneur Conference\u00a0(MCEC 2017) which will be held on 25 November with the theme \u2018Road\u2019. Another activity is the launching of the \u2018Malaysia-China Trade and Investment Guide\u2019.<\/p>\n

As a multi-ethnic independent organization, the MCCC has been actively educating the members and public on the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) by organizing about a hundred seminars in both English and Mandarin. The seminars have received enthusiastic response from the participants.<\/p>\n

The above roundtable discussion is mainly aimed at strengthening the cooperation and consensus of the chambers of commerce from various countries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
