Dave Williams, US Embassy to Malaysia’s Economic Counsellor, visited Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) on 12 October 2022 and was received by the Deputy President of MCCC, Mr. Ngan Teng Ye. Both sides discussed future opportunities and cooperation.

Dave Williams said the visit was to discuss how to guide US companies to explore business opportunities in Malaysia, particularly in terms of economic framework based on Malaysian policies, such as trade cooperation between US technology suppliers and Malaysian manufacturers, and expanding into the markets of neighboring RCEP countries.

Attendees included Eugene Roy Joseph, MCCC Vice President ,Tan In Fong, Secretary General, Tan Kok Toon, Chairman of Business Sectors Committee; US Embassy to Malaysia’s Economic Officer Isaac Jenkins, James Wilson, and Economic Specialist Sharon Tan.
