KUALA LUMPUR: In conjunction with the upcoming 8th Malaysia-China Entrepreneurs Conference (MCEC 2018) to be held in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China on 19 September, the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) and the organisations in Jiangsu Province are actively implementing preparatory work in order to bring the best result of business matching to participating entrepreneurs from both countries.

The MCCC hosted a dinner for the delegation from the Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province led by the Deputy Director, Zhou Xiaoyang. Both sides conducted in-depth exchanges to promote bilateral understanding and relations in order to open up business opportunities in the bilateral markets.

President of MCCC, Tan Yew Sing, is optimistic that the enterprises in Malaysia and Jiangsu Province are highly complementary.

“If the business matching for both countries is successful in this coming conference, it will lay a foundation for future mutual benefits,” Tan said.

The MCEC 2018 emphasises on quality instead of quantity, focusing on 200 Malaysian entrepreneurs with excellent quality, products and services to participate in the conference.

The conference was held in Xiamen and Chengdu in 2014 and 2016 respectively. This year, MCCC will organise the conference abroad once again. This time, it will be held in Nanjing.
