HEBEI: The Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC), Guangxi University of Finance and Economics and Aisino Co Ltd held the ‘Invest in Malaysia’ workshop in Shijiazhuang, Hebei province in China last weekend (20-21 April) and successfully attracted about 40 entrepreneurs and management representatives from China.

Through the presentation of three well-known speakers from Malaysia, the participants were given a better understanding of Malaysia’s economic conditions, government organisational structure, business establishment, investment laws, policies, taxation and accounting systems, bank loans and etc.

The three renowned speakers are the former Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry (MITI) cum Honorary Advisor of MCCC, Ng Lip Yong, Vice Chairman of MAYCHAM, Will Fung Jui Seng, and tax expert in Malaysia, Chen Voon Hann.

This workshop is another major event of MCCC following the ‘Invest in China’ workshop held in Malaysia last August. These workshops are designed to provide guidance for the companies from Malaysia and China to invest in the respective markets.

In view of the enthusiastic response from both countries, MCCC, Guangxi University of Finance and Economics and Aisino Co Ltd plan to conduct English workshops in all states of Malaysia and provinces in China. This is to promote the understanding towards the economic conditions, market conditions, policies, taxes, administrative operations, and legal systems in Malaysia and China.
