Five members of the delegation from Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC)—Secretary-General Kevin Siah, Treasurer Thay Peng Hong, National Council Member Koh Keng Kok, Youth Wing Chairman Bryan Chong, and Youth Wing First Vice Chairman Lim Le Kern, visited Shao Haihui Association. They learned about the ecosystem mode of Shao Haihui, and held in-depth exchanges with Vice President of I-City, Yao Pu and General Manager of Krund, Li Wenke on security robots and smart city construction.
MCCC was established in 1990 with the aim of promoting the economic and trade development and investment cooperation between China and Malaysia and playing an important role in the economic and trade exchange between China and Malaysia.
From May 14 to 15 this year, the Belt and Road Initiative International Cooperation Summit was held in Beijing. The Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak led a delegation to attend this summit and MCCC President, Tan Yew Sing was one of the delagates.
In the 2017-2018 economic report released by Malaysia in early December, it includes the China’s Belt and Road Initiative for the first time.
Jiaozhou Development Zone, where the headquarters of Shao Haihui is located, owns the only Eurasian economic and trade cooperation industrial park with cross-directional investment and interaction in both China and Eurasia and home and abroad. With the construction of Belt and Road in the country, Jiaozhou Development Zone devotes to global smart home industry chain Investment and resource integration, focusing on the global smart home industrial park layout.
During the visit, delegations were greatly impressed by the Krund’s I-City industry. In particular, the security robot developed by Krund made a profound impression on them and said that at present the law and order management of some districts in Malaysia basically relies on traditional way of doing. Hence, Malaysia needs to implement the said artificial intelligent to improve the security situation.
As a new industry of the Shao Haihui’s ecosystem, Krund’s I-City is a joint effort of 15 leading companies in the industry such as Haieros, ITOO Smart Home, NVC Lighting, Smart City, and iSoftStone to create a sustainable smart city in 9 major areas of smart traffic, smart security, smart education, smart healthcare, smart communities and smart sports through Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing and other technologies.
The technologies include Krund’s robot using face recognition, infrared sensors and other technologies, equipped with remote, and night vision camera. The robot perform the same job as the security personnel including monitoring the personnel, vehicles, anomalies to implement 24 hours 360-degree real-time monitoring to avoid security blind spots. This does not only enhance community security conditions, but also save manpower and reduce property management costs.
In addition, Krund’s security robot has repeatedly made its debut at the Dubai International Exhibition and other international exhibitions. It was exported to Singapore and other places. Now, it is a popular product.
Besides, members of the Shao Haihui invented the intelligent locks, using binocular camera technology, not only can accurately identify small details like whether a person has shaved, but also detect whether it is human or pictures to ensure accuracy and safety.
After the visit, both sides conducted more in-depth exchanges. The MCCC also enthusiastically invited Krund to visit and jointly helped build the smart city.
