This seminar begins with a welcoming speech from Chairman of Business Sectors Committee Tan Kok Toon. In his speech he states in times of instable economy, with the intentions of local governments and fluctuations in financial markets, the operating environment has become more challenging. The release of hidden potential and company balance sheets, cost management efficiency may be the key factor to stay ahead of the business community.
He also introduced panelist–Financial Solutions Expert Mr. Law Yew Sun who helped promoting effective cash management process, optimize taxes and obtain competitive returns from excess funds.
Panelist Mr. Law Yew Sun shared today’s topic is about the “Significance in Achieving Listing Triumph”, “Purpose of Listing”, “Key Requirements for Bursa Listing”, “Moratorium on Shares” and “Key Steps and Relevant Parties for a Successful Public Listing Journey”. He also mentions the “Financial Management Discipline” is to create value to achieve listing triumph, generating assets, manage liabilities and return on shareholder’s fund. As well as purpose of listing is to access to capital, liquidity for shareholders, enhancing visibility and credibility, mergers and acquisitions, employee incentives and benchmarking & governance.
