About the Malaysia-China Entrepreneurs Conference

MCEC traces its roots to the first ASEAN-China Partnership Forum, initiated in 2002 by the then President, Tan Sri Ngan Ching Wen. In 2011, MCCC launched the first Malaysia-China Trade and Investment International Conference, later named MCEC, which has been held annually since, and this year marks its 16th edition. Since 2014, the conference has rotated between Malaysia and China, with editions held in cities such as Xiamen, Chengdu, Nanjing, Fuzhou and Haikou. It is MCCC’s flagship international event, with the core objective of deepening collaboration between Malaysian and Chinese enterprises, particularly SMEs.
